Delhi Rain Yellow alert

Delhi Weather: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Delhi, indicating the possibility of continued heavy rainfall across the region. On Wednesday, September 4, intense downpours affected multiple areas in the National Capital Region (NCR), including Gurgaon and Noida, leading to severe waterlogging.

According to the IMD, Delhi NCR is expected to experience rain and thunderstorms over the next several days. The 10-day weather forecast predicts cloudy skies, with intermittent rainfall and thunderstorms persisting until September 14. The city recorded a minimum temperature of 25.2 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels at 85%.

The heavy rains have already caused significant disruptions in Delhi NCR. The Delhi Police had previously advised commuters to plan their peak-hour travel carefully due to traffic congestion in several areas caused by waterlogging and the uprooting of trees after rainfall on September 2.

Delhi Weather -Light to moderate rainfall is expected across the entire Delhi NCR region and several surrounding areas, including Jind, Adampur, Gohana, Meham, Sonipat, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Jhajjar, and Rewari, among others.
